Woo!! It's SO CLOSE NOW. I'm so stoked. And holy cow there are a lot of procrastinaters out there. We've had 10 signups in the last 12 hours! If you'd like to know where everyone will sit, it's mostly open to First Come First Served, but some areas have been reserved as they are "clan friendly seating". Check it all out here. - Alcazar

Last night was so intense. In the Teamplay.net Spring Survival tournament west division there was a playoff match betwee two great west teams. Team Canine and Xband! K9 pulled off a victory in 2 games, and the world rejoiced. Now .. Canine faces the infamous duo of Death Row and Demolition, two of the most feared and respected clans united under one name, Team k0z. This match is for the west division title in this tournament. When and where will this game take place you ask? We're working out details with Teamplay.net right now to have this incredible showdown occur at K9-Con 2000!
Next order of business, we're looking for some fast server hardware to run K9-Con dedicated Q3 servers on. If anyone has available high-powered machines to donate for the 3 days of K9-Con, email me asap! - Alcazar

The pre-seedings have begun, and the elite clan invitations have been sent. If you received one of these invitations in your email, use it to register now for K9-Con 2000. If you didn't, wait till Friday for the general registrations to open.
Also, check out the new Information section of the site. It gives you all kinds of important stuff to know. - Alcazar

Look for signups to be opened this week! We're letting all of the pre-seeded and invited teams respond before opening registration to the general public. Like last year, the floor will be spread out so even the local "Joe Schmo" team of newbies gets to compete right along side the superstar teams like [9], k0z, K9, etc. Stay tuned! - Alcazar

That was one hell of a lot of silence for an event so huge. All the staff of K9sports.net have been working around the clock on a sponsor drive to replace the recent withdrawal of our largest cash sponsorship opportunity. Since this setback has cost a lot of promotion time and money, we've trimmed the event down to size. It's been moved!
K9-Con 2000 will now be held at its original location from years gone by, at Techmart, in Santa Clara, CA. The dates will be Friday through Sunday, August 25 thru 27.
Same format, Teamplay 4.1, and largely invitational. Expect to see a much higher concentration of the most elite teams competing for the main prize, bragging rights. Where's the huge cash prize you ask? Good question. We'll keep trying! - Alcazar
